PCG rescues foreign national who jumped off Pasig River PASIG, MANILA – The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Search Operations Unit (SOU) has rescued a foreign national who jumped off Valenzuela Ferry Station in Pasig River around 6 o’clock in the morning yesterday, 27 November 2019.

The victim, who was found handcuffed, was identified as Mr. Johnson Obi, a foreign national from Cameron, Africa and works as a business consultant of a media company.

Mr. Obi shared that he was handcuffed by unknown bystanders at his residence in Makati City. He managed to escape and jumped off Pasig River to save himself from his perpetrators.

Immediately, Mr. Obi was turned-over to the Mandaluyong City Police Station for proper disposition.
