INFANTA, PANGASINAN - The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) have arrested two residents of Barangay Lipay, Santa Cruz, Zambales due to illegal fishing using compressor along the waters off Balaki Island, Infanta, Pangasinan on 24 November 2019.

The fishermen were turned- over to the PNP Infanta Police Station for the filing of appropriate charges.

Meanwhile, the motorbanca used in illegal fishing is kept at the adjacent shoreline to the PCG Sub-Station in Infanta, Pangasinan until further guidance from the authorities.
