PCG: Personnel of Coast Guard Station (CGS) Dapitan continue its search for three (3) fishermen who remain missing after a fishing venture between the vicinity waters off Barangay Canday-Ong, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental and Barangay Pasihagon, Siquijor since January 15.

CGS Dumaguete personnel went aboard CGS Dapitan and reported the identity of the missing fishermen as Roselier Doring, 24 years old; Danny Toastomban, 40 years old and Johnlloyd Toastomban who boarded an unregistered motor banca “Johnloyd”, painted green and white with homeport at Brgy. Pasihagon, Siquijor.

Upon receipt of the said report, personnel of CGS Dumaguete and CGS Dapitan conducted a joint search and rescue operation but yielded a negative result.

Moreover, CGS Dapitan directed all watercrafts/vessels transiting in the area to report any information on the said incident and likewise directed its sub-stations to inform all local fishermen and nearby coastal barangays to be on the lookout for possible sightings of the said motor banca.
