PCG: The crew of PCG Islander 251 found the missing Landing Craft Tanker (LCT) Aviva 5 with the 17 crew onboard in Dinapak Island, Palawan at 3:15pm in the afternoon, today.

According to reports, the main engine of distressed LCT Aviva 5 shut off causing the tanker to drift from Fortune Island, Nasugbu, Batangas on April 7.

As of press time, BRP Cabra is escorting LCT Aviva 5 three (3) nautical miles from Dinapak Island while they are fixing the main engine.
