PCG: Personnel of Coast Guard Station (CGS) Camarines Sur confiscated a total of 13 rims of fake “Jackpot” cigarettes onboard passenger vessel, Mbca “Maxim-12”, skippered by its Captain, Mr. Eric Dela Cruz, while docked at Pasacao Port in Camarines Sur last April 27.

SPO4 Malvin Clarete, Deputy Commander of PNP Maritime Group of Pasacao, Camarines Sur called CGS Pasacao to request an assistance regarding a suspicious box covered by plastic onboard passenger Mbca “Maxim-12” docked at Pasacao Port.

Immediately, personnel of CGS Camsur together with PNP Marig proceeded to the area to verify the report and successfully confiscated said fake cigarettes.

Previous intelligence reports from FSD Camarines Sur, revealed that there were already reported illegal transport of fake cigarette products using motorized bancas in the area. Confiscated items are now under the custody of PNP-MG and will be forwarded to DTI Naga City for proper disposition.
