PCG: Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Alabang retrieved the cadaver of Mr. April Jay Mirasol, 21-year-old resident of Brgy. Pacuan Lemery, Iloilo, who was reportedly drowned at the vicinity waters off Alabang, Muntinlupa City last Sunday, 20 May.

According to Mr. Titson Demayo, Motorbanca Lunday where the victim is onboard encountered big waves that resulted to its capsizing while enroute from Siete Fishpen to the shorelines of Brgy. Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

Coast Guard Station (CGS) Laguna De Bay, CGSS Muntinlupa, and seven personnel from Siete Fishpen proceeded to the incident area to conduct Search and Rescue (SAR) operation but yielded negative results due to darkness and unfavorable water condition.

The said team resumed the SAR operation the following day, 21 May and found the cadaver of Mr. Mirasol about 273 yards away from Siete Fishpen.

The victim was properly turned-over to his relative and brought to Eastern Funeral in Muntinlupa for proper disposition.
