PCG: The body of the fisherman identified as Mr Ge-jay Galleta who went missing since May 24 was seen floating and retrieved by the concerned citizen named Carlito Abia Villanueva, boat operator, approximately one nautical mile from the shoreline of Corregidor Island last 26 May.

The victim was the last person of the five fishermen onboard fishing banca “Susana” which accidentally collided with fishing banca “Marlyd DLS 55” on May 24 at the vicinity waters off South Channel, Corregidor Island, Cavite.

Said fishing banca incurred heavy damaged and sunk after the collision leaving Mr Galleta missing.

The body was immediately identified by the family of the victim and brought to Punzalan Funeral Homes in Marivels, Bataan for proper disposition.
