Personnel of Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Wawandue together with the Philippine National Police (PNP) Station San Felipe, Zambales is still on search for the missing person in Canlas Beach Resort at Barangay Maluma San Felipe, Zambales who went missing since Sunday, June 17.

The victim was identified as Ranny Mamaril, 22 years old and a resident of St. Peter Village, Cutcot, Angeles City, Pampanga.

According to his brother Richard Mamaril, Ranny went on a swimming venture 50 meters away from the shoreline of the said resort where he was battered by big waves causing him to drown.

The team conducted surface search but yielded with negative result. As of press time, the said Sub-Station is continuously conducting Search and Rescue Operations within the vicinity of the incident area.
