PCG: Elements of Coast Guard Station (CGS) Cavite together with Field Station National Central Region Central Luzon (FS NCR-CL) apprehended three (3) illegal dynamite fishers in Cavite last Monday, June 25.

While CGS Cavite personnel were conducting intensified Maritime Security Patrol, the team sighted the fishermen in the act of illegal fishing onboard a fishing banca at vicinity waters off El Fraile, Ternate, Cavite.

Immediately, CGS Cavite and FS NCR-CL teams took custody of the said unmarked F/bca and apprehended the crew who were identified as: Mr. Lodo T Boniola, 54 years old, Dennis A Formanis, 50 years old and Romil R Rosel, 24 years old, all of them are residents of Brgy. Labac, Naic, Cavite.

Moreover, fish catch found onboard the F/bca which was suspected to be caught by blast fishing was confiscated. The apprehended fishermen are now under the custody of CGSS Naic for investigation and other Maritime Law Enfocement (MARLEN) procedures in preparation for filing of appropriate charges in Ternate, Cavite.
