Personnel from Coast Guard Station (CGS) Curimao together with Search Operation Unit of Northwestern Luzon and Coast Guard Substation Bacarra retrieved a body of a drowned teenager in Brgy 22 Catuguing, San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte yesterday, July 04.

The victim was identified as John Harvey Manglanlan, 18 years old, resident of Brgy. 22 Catuguing, San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte.

According to the report, Manglanlan was under the influence of alcohol when he jumped over the dam in their barangay.

His body was retrieved at the bottom of the dam and was properly turned-over to his family for proper disposition.
