PCG: Personnel of Multi-Role Response Vessel (MRRV) 4401 “BRP Tubattaha” together with medical and search operations unit personnel of Coast Guard Southeastern Mindanao, Search and Rescue Vessel (SARV) 3501 “BRP Ilocos Norte” and PCG Auxiliary conducted a medical evacuation of an ailing crew of MV Global Innovator last Monday, July 9 2018 at approximately 5 nautical miles of Kaganuhan Point in Davao Oriental.

The victim was identified as Mr Erwin Ebrada, 31 years old and was reported experiencing a severe stomach pain in his lower quadrant since Friday, July 06.

As per report, MV Global Innovator is enroute to Leyte from Australia.

The team immediately proceeded in the given coordinates and upon arrival, they transferred the ailing crew to MRRV-4401.

Upon arriving at Sta Ana Wharf, the patient was immediately transferred to an ambulance and was brought to San Pedro Hospital in Sta Ana, Davao City for proper medical attention.
