PCG: Coast Guard Station (CGS) Camarines Sur and Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Region 5 apprehended the fishing banca “Reyanna” and “Rosie Moneth” at Calabanga, Camarines Sur yesterday, 17 July.
While conducting a joint seaborne patrol at around 04:50AM, the team sighted F/bca Reyanna with its boat captain, Mr Victor Pajarillo, 47 years old together with his four boat crew onboard at the vicinity waters off Calabanga, Camarines Sur. Likewise F/bca Rosie Moneth was sighted with its boat captain Mr. Armando M. Racca, 53 years old together with eight boat crew onboard at the same vicinity. The team boarded the said vessels and found out the following violations:

- No pertinent documents onboard

No captain license and no marine diesel mechanic license
The team immediately apprehended the crew of the aforementioned fishing bancas and informed them the nature of their offenses especially the conduct of fishing with the use of fine mesh net.
The two fishing bancas together with its crew were towed to Camaligan Fishing Port and were properly turned-over to BFAR personnel for documentation and filing of appropriate charge against them.
