PCG: Personnel from Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Pasacao seized a total of 23 boxes of cigarettes worth P690,000.00 market value at Pasacao Port, Camarines Sur yesterday, August 21.

According to the report, CGSS Pasacao is conducting foot patrol within the area when they seized a white van with plate number “AEA 1508” loaded with undocumented boxes of cigarettes.

Said cigarettes will be transported to San Pascual Port in Masbate from the said port.

The team immediately made coordination with the driver of the van, Mr. Esteban Panuelos De Luna, 44 year old resident of San Isidro, Goa, Camarines Sur. However, he failed to present any pertinent documents.

At press time, the driver together with the confiscated items is in the custody of CGSS Pasacao for proper investigation.
