PCG: 35 passengers including the crew were rescued while one cadaver of a child was recovered by the joint rescue team of personnel from Coast Guard Sub-Station San Pascual, local Philippine National Police and Local Government Unit of Quezon, as Motor boat “Princess Donna” sank at vicinity waters off San Francisco, Quezon yesterday, November 10.
According to the report, the ill-fated motor boat departed San Andres, Quezon and was on its way to Sumbrero Island in Masbate for island hoping. The boat encountered big waves that resulted to its sinking.
Passengers and crew were brought to Sitio Mayantok in San Andres, Quezon for medical assistance and proper disposition of the recovered cadaver.
