Coast Guard Station (CGS) Sorsogon and Coast Guard Sub Station Rapu-rapu continues searching of the three (3) missing fishermen onboard fishing banca Frence 1 Joan and unnamed motorbanca with yellow color at the vicinity water of North Samar on January 18.

A certain Ramon Guianan reported the incident to CGS Sorsogon.

According to reports, the victims were identified as Jomar Banaynal, 46 years old, Jay John Banaynal, 19 years old and Reynan Echague, 28 years old and all residents of Barangay Gogon, Rapu-rapu, Albay. 

Investigation revealed that the two fishermen were onboard fbca Frence 1 Joan while the other fisherman were onboard unnamed motorbanca with yellow color departed from Barangay Gogon, Rapu-rapu, Albay enroute to the vicinity waters of North Samar area to conduct fishing venture but failed to returned home on that day. 

CGS Sorsogon and CGSS Rapu-rapu advised all watercrafts transiting in the area to be on look-out of the three (3) missing fishermen and render necessary assistance and report to the nearest Coast Guard Station if sighted.
