PCG: Personnel of Coast Guard Station (CGS) Sulu continues its search for six missing fishermen onboard an unregistered motor banca in Sulu last January 24.

The missing fishermen were identified as follows:

1. Mr. Alim Najar, 46 yrs old, resident of Jolo, Sulu

2. Mr Samad Hayundini, 42 yrs old, resident of Busbus, Jolo, Sulu

3. Mr. Munamir Hassan, 38 yrs old, resident of Busbus, Jolo, Sulu

4. Mr Midzfar Sajirin, 50 yrs old, resident of Pangasinan, Bangas Jolo, Sulu

5. Mr. Medzfar Sajirin, 28 yrs old, resident of Busbus, Jolo, Sulu

6. Mr. Omang Ahas, 53 yrs old, resident of Pangasinan Bangas, Jolo, Sulu

Investigation revealed that six fishermen were onboard said motor banca and enroute from Tanjung Pisuk to Laparan Island in Jolo, Sulu to conduct fishing venture but failed to return home on the expected date.

Furthermore, CGS Sulu advised all watercrafts transiting in the area to be on the look-out of the six missing fishermen and render necessary assistance and to report to the nearest Coast Guard station if sighted.
