PCG: Office of Civil Defense (OCD) Assistant Secretary for Operations Rodolfo C Santillan together with OCD Region VI Director Ms Rosario Cabrera visited Coast Guard Station (CGS) Iloilo on March 15, 2017.

Asec Santillan is also the Head for Emergency Preparedness during the ASEAN 2017 held in Iloilo City from March 6-16, 2017. The visitors were welcomed by Commander of Coast Guard District Western Visayas (CGDWV) COMMO LYNDON F LATORRE PCG and Station Commander of Coast Guard Station (CGS) Iloilo LCDR RAMIL A PALABRICA PCG.

After the visit, they toured the Coast Guard vessel BRP Pampanga (SARV 003) that was moored at Fort San Pedro, Iloilo City. BRP Pampanga is one of the floating assets that were deployed to conduct maritime security during the ASEAN 2017.
