PCG: Three missing fishermen onboard unnamed motorbanca were the subject of search and rescue operations by the elements of Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Pandan at vicinity waters off Eastern part of Catanduanes since March 17.

The missing fishermen were identified as Mr. Edwin Briones Sr, 56 years old, Mr. Edwin Briones Jr, 25 years old and Mr. Dindo Losito, 25 years old and all residents of Brgy. Tubli Caramoran Catanduanes.

The incident was then reported by Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO).

Immediately, CGSS Pandan conducted search and rescue (SAR) operation together with fisherfolks and hired unnamed motorbanca at vicinity of Northern and Eastern part off Pandan, Catanduanes.

SAR operation temporarily terminated due to unfavorable sea condition and will continue if the weather permits.

CGSS Pandan advised all fishermen in the area to be on look-out for the said missing fishermen and immediately report to the nearest PCG unit if sighted.
