PCG: Coast Guard still searching for 12 missing person onboard M/bca “Christian” at vicinity waters off Mariveles, Bataan last March 20.

The two fishermen were not yet recognized while the 10 identified are as follows:

• Angelito Silva, 50 yrs old

• Angel Silva, 14 yrs old

• Ramon Del Rosario Sr., 60 yrs old

• Ramon Del Rosario Jr., 30 yrs old

• Seya Del Rosario, 10 yrs old

• Levy Platetas, 65 yrs old

• Edril Platetas, 45 yrs old

• Michael Baybay Sr, 38 yrs old

• Michael Baybay Jr, 13 yrs old

• Ashley Digno, 13 yrs old and all residents of Brgy Latoria, Naic, Cavite

The incident was then reported to Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Naic by Ms Violeta Baybay, 41 years old, wife of Mr. Michael Baybay Sr.

Investigation revealed that said victims were departed Brgy Latoria, Naic, Cavite enroute to Mariveles, Bataan for attending Brgy. Fiesta.

CGSS Naic coordinated with CGSS Mariveles and CGSS Corregidor to conduct search and rescue and advised all fisherfolks and vessels transiting the area to be on look-out for the said missing person and report to the nearest PCG unit if sighted.
