PCG: Coast Guard Station (CGS) El Nido successfully confiscated illegal drugs at Last Cabanas Beach, Brgy. Corong Corong, El Nido, Palawan last March 23.

Said operation was informed by PSI Analyn A Palma PNP, OIC-El Nido Municipal Police Station (MPS) El Nido.

CGS El Nido personnel together with Field Station (FS) personnel and CGK-9 El Nido proceeded to MPS-El Nido for operation briefing.

Furthermore, the team successfully arrested Jhaypee Nangit Abejo, 31 years old, security guard and a resident of New Buncag, Brgy Mandaragat, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan and recovered the following items:

• 1 PC Heat sealed transparent plastics sachets with white crystalline substance believed to be a “Shabu”

• 1 PC First consolidated bank passbook

• 2 PCS rolled aluminum foil

• 1 PC Cellphone Nokia

• 1 PC Sling Bag

• 1 PC Lighter

• 1 PC 9mm Pistol with serial number 980018

• 1 PC 9mm Magazine with eight live ammunition

• 1 PC Motorcycle MIO Yamaha with chasis number: E3U8E-0021162

• 12 PCS One Hundred Peso Bill

• 1 PC Two Hundred Peso Bill

• 3 PCS Twenty Peso Bill

• 1 PC 1000 Peso Bill

Upon the termination of the operation, the suspect was put under the custody of MPS-El Nido while the alleged illegal drugs and paraphernalia’s are subject for laboratory examination.
