PCG: Personnel of Coast Guard Station (CGS) Dapitan and CGS Ozamis under Coast Guard District Northern Mindanao (CGDNM) and Operation Control (OPCON) units together with Philippine National Police Maritime Group (PNP MARIG), 1010th and 1006th Philippine Coast Guard Auxilliaries assisted and rendered security to the delegates of Congressional Port Tour from Port of Dumaguete to Port of Pulauan at vicinity of Dakak Beach Resort, Dapitan City, Zamboanga Del Norte last March 20.

Upon the arrival of MV Fast Cat M6 (Chartered Vessel), the team proceeded at the vicinity of Tagolo Point onboard DF-311, Aluminum Boat (AB) 256 & AB-257 and three floating assets of 1010th PCGA spearheaded by CAPT REY ACIS PCGA. They conducted maritime security and escorted the chartered vessel until she is securely docked at Palauan Port, Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte.

On the other hand, Personnel of K9 unit, CGDNM and Special Operation Unit Northern Mindanao (SOUNM) conducted paneling operation at Port of Dapitan. The said team provided security barrier and intensified the security measures at the Dakak Cove where the delegates were accommodated.

On 21 March, the tour continued and proceeded to Cagayan de Oro City. All working parties returned to their respective Stations without any untoward incident happened.
