PCG: Coast Guard Station (CGS) Romblon successfully confiscated an estimated value of Php 30,000.00 worth of illegal drugs at Sitio Torrel, Brgy. Dapawan, Odiongan, Romblon last April 9.

The joint buy bust operation was conducted by personnel of CGS Romblon together with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Furthermore, the team successfully confiscated the drug paraphernalia and arrested Joseph Ignacio Y Forio, (44 years old), Jones Faigao Y Geritana, (30 years old), Benriv Fronda Y Carillo, (29 years old) and Al Fernandez Y Bocalso, (23 years old), all residents of Sitio Baybay of said barangay.

The four arrested drug suspects were brought to the Romblon Provincial Hospital for physical examination before they were turned over to the custody of the Municipal Police Station (MPS) Odiongan for proper disposition.

Cases for violation of RA 9165 and RA 1059 were filed against the suspects at the Office of the Romblon Provincial Fiscal's Office of MPS Odiongan.
