Coast Guard Sub-Station Lucap personnel successfully rescued a total of fourteen (14) passengers and one (1) operator onboard M/bca “Allan-7”, a passenger boat that caught fire while at vicinity five hundred (500) meters away from the shoreline of Sitio Inansuana, Lucap, Alaminos City, Pangasinan yesterday, April 16, 2017.

Initial reports disclosed that at 7:20 AM of the said date, duty personnel of CGSS Lucap sighted the distressed vessel and reported the incident to the station. CGSS Lucap immediately proceeded to the incident area and conducted rescue operation. 

The rescued passengers who are all residents of Mabalacat, Pampanga were identified as follows:

1) Merwin Enriques, 72 year old

2) Elsa Galatsera, 54 year old

3) Rogelio Gatsera, 52 year old

4) Ana Marie Galatsera, 26 year old

5) Daisyrie Galatsera, 20 year old

6) Angelica Tiklao, 30 year old

7) Samson Tiklao, 30 year old

8) Princess Janele Tiklao, 5 year old

9) Jocelyn Tiklao, 7 year old

10) Raffy Torres, 35 year old

11) Analy Torres, 30 year old

12) Ralph Lawrence Torres, 8 year old

13) Marilou Galatsera, 45 year old

14) Arman Galatsera, 40 year old and

15) Arnold Aglibot - the operator of M/bca “Allan-7”

Investigation revelead that M/bca “Allan-7” caught fire after the gasoline container which was placed beside her engine suddenly exploded.

The said rescued passengers and operator were then turned-over to Dagupan Doctors Villaflor Memorial Hospital, Dagupan City, Pangasinan for further medical treatment.
