PCG: Officer-in-Charge, COMMO JOEL S GARCIA PCG PhD H.D, Al Haj, spearheaded the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the PCG and Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC) represented by its President and CEO Mr. Dave M Almarines, in a simple, yet momentous and historic event held at PITC Office, National Development Company Building in Makati City, 10 May 2017.

This undertaking aims to hasten the Command’s procurement activities by acquiring the expertise of PITC as supplier of goods and outsourcing the procurement services subject to the provisions of the rules and regulations of the Government Procurement Reform Act (R.A 9184) and its 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations.  

Further, the said agreement will improve and enhance the delivery of procurement services by delegating some of its procurement functions in anticipation for major infrastructure projects and procurement of goods and services yet to undertake by the command where the needs of technical experts and procurement professionals are deemed essential.
