Coast Guard Station Curimao together with PNP Badoc searched for a missing person in Ilocos Norte yesterday, May 27.

The victim reportedly went drowning at Barangay Saud, Badoc, Ilocos Norte. He was identified as Rommel Bautista Y Villadores, 12 years old and a resident of Barangay Garret, Badoc, Ilocos Norte.

Onboard a mobile patrol of Badoc, the team proceeded in the area to conduct Search and Rescue Operation but yielded negative result.

Due to poor visibility and big waves SAR operations was terminated and will resume as soon as the weather and sea condition permits.

The team also advised the populace in the coastal barangays to be on the look -out for possible sightings of said victim and to report to the nearest PCG Station/Unit if sighted.
