PCG: Elements of Coast Guard Sub-Station Hinigaran are still searching for a 16-year old drowning victim at vicinity waters of Panaoan Beach Resort Brgy. 2, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.

The incident was reported by LT DIONILO BOGTAE of Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Reports revealed that Mr. Lawrence Clemente, the drowning victim was in a swimming venture with his four companions in Panaoan Beach Resort last June 4. Due to rough sea condition, Mr. Clemente along with Mr. Mars Fernandez, 16 years old, were drifted away from their group and eventually went missing.

The personnel of CGSS Higaran with Sipalay Rescue Team immediately conducted search and rescue operations however, only Mr. Clemente remains missing.

SAR Team has already coordinated with the barangay officials and nearby residents and was advised to be on lookout and report to the nearest PCG unit if victim is sighted.
