PCG: Coast Guard Sub-Station Malapatan personnel continues search for a crew of F/B “Queen and King Lowel June” who went missing while on a fishing venture at vicinity waters off Mati City, Davao Oriental on August 2, Wednesday.

The incident was reported by Mr. George Q Abello, owner of the fishing banca together with the boat Captain, Mr. Alex Gallo.

Accordingly, Mr. Orot left the mother boat and went onboard his red fishing banca locally known as “Pakura” for fishing venture but failed to return due to unfavorable weather condition.

The Boat Captain and his crew scouted the area for possible sighting of the missing crew but yielded negative results.

Coast Guard Station Gensan informed Coast Guard Station Mati about the incident and advised all water crafts and vessels transisting in the vicinity to be on the look-out of the said missing person and to report immediately to the nearest Coast Guard Unit, if sighted.
