PCG: The Acting Deputy Director of the National Coast Watch Center Rear Admiral Roberto DV Santos AFP (Ret) led the closing ceremony of the week-long joint inter-agency field training exercise dubbed as "Bukluran Bantay Baybayin 01-17 held at the Headquarters Philippine Coast Guard today, September 15.

The Acting Deputy Director of NCWC commended the member agencies for being advocates of a strong maritime nation. He also stated that the conduct of field training exercise will further enhance the capability and interoperability of the NCWC.

One of highlights of the said event was the awarding ceremony for the participating agencies such as; Armed Forces of the Philippines, Bureau of Customs, Asian Terminals Incorporated, Bureau of Immigration, Philippine Nuclear Research Institute, Philippine Coast Guard,  Raytheon, Philippine National Police-Maritime Group and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
