PCG: Coast Guard personnel successfully recovered a body of a man after drowning along Agno River, Barangay Ambayat 2nd Area, Bayambang, Pangasinan on All Saints Day.

Initial report was received by Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Dagupan from a certain Ms. Gene Benebe of Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) informing a drowning incident in Agno River which involved a certain Mr. Silvester Nebus Nebreja, 29 years old, single and a resident of Las PiΓ±as City, Metro Manila.

Information revealed that the victim was conducting fishing venture at said vicinity in Pangasinan.

A concerned citizen informed MDRRMO-Bayambang that they have sighted a cadaver at vicinity of Agno River, Barangay Cabayaoasan, Mangatarem, Pangasinan.

CGSS Dagupan and MDRRMO-Bayambang confirmed the said information and immediately recovered the dead body who was positively identified by his elder brother.

Furthermore, the cadaver was turned-over to his brother and local police in Bayambang for proper disposition.
