PCG: Coast Guard Station Aurora together with personnel from Coast Guard Sub-station Baler continue search for a missing tourist after he fell off the rocky portion of AMCO Beach Resort in Brgy. Sabali, Baler, Aurora last Wednesday, November 08.

The victim was identified as Mr Justine Paul M Delos Santos, 21 and a resident of Quezon City.

Investigation revealed that the victim was taking pictures with his friend, Bea Malapitan at the said area, when they were suddenly dragged by big waves and strong current into the deeper portion of the water causing them to drown.

Malapitan was able to swim back to the shoreline, while the victim was nowhere to be found.

The SAR team immediately conducted Search and Rescue Operations, however, yielded negative result. 

The Coast Guard advised local fisher folks and residents in the area to be on the look-out for the missing Delos Santos and to report to the nearest PCG unit if sighted.
