PCG: Personnel of Coast Guard Sub Station Narra continues its search for a person who remains missing since November 5 after a swimming venture at Malatgao River in Narra, Palawan. The victim was a farmer identified as Mr Melchor Ibañez, 47 years old.

Information received from Mrs Esperanza Ibañez, mother of the victim revealed that her son went swimming at said river but failed to return up to this date. Accordingly, the victim was facing family problems due to his recent separation from his wife.

Immediately, joint search and rescue team composed of PCG, local police and local government unit conducted search and rescue (SAR) operations at said river but failed to locate the victim. The SAR team advised the local residents to be on the look-out for the missing person and to report immediately to the nearest PCG unit if sighted.
