PCG: Personnel of Coast Guard Station (CGS) Iloilo continues its search for two fishermen who remain missing after a fishing venture at vicinity waters off Sition Luzaran, Barangay Lapaz, Nueva Valencia in Guimaras last November 20.

A certain Ms. Glenda Fandinola, 43 years old and a resident of Sto. Niño Sur, Arevalo, Iloilo City reported at CGS Iloilo informing that the said fishermen identified as Nanie Sasa (48 years old) and Mr. Rene Gamuyao (16 years old), residents of said barangay were onboard fishing banca “Stella Maris”, painted with blue, red and white.

 Immediately, personnel of CGS Iloilo and Nueva Valencia Bantay Dagat conducted a joint search and rescue operation but yielded with negative result. 

Furthermore, CGS Iloilo advised all fisher folks transiting in the nearby areas to be on the lookout for the two missing fishermen and to report immediately to the nearest Coast Guard unit if sighted.
