The Coast Guard Real Estate Management Office (REMO) organized a seminar on Real Estate Management today, 14 December at the National Headquarters Philippine Coast Guard. The seminar, dubbed as “Documentation of Lighthouse Reservations and CG Bases” is the first in the series of discussions conceptualized by REMO for an efficient real estate management. The objectives of this seminar are:

• To establish the ownership over the properties occupied by the PCG facilities

• To properly record the real properties in the PCG Book of Accounts in compliance with COA guidance

• To maintain an efficient real estate management in line with the capability enhancement program of the PCG

The Resource Speaker for this activity is Eng. Bernardo P Ibe, Chief, Reservation and Grants, Land Management Division, Land Management Bureau (LMB). In attendance are designated Real Estate Officers of Coast Guard Southern Tagalog and Coast Guard North Eastern Luzon, HPCG REMO personnel and Legal Officer of DCS for Legal Affairs, CG15.

The expected outputs are formulation of courses of action to be implemented by CGDs, processing of documents for application for Special Patent/PP by 1st Quarter 2018 and recording in the PCG Book of Accounts by 2nd Quarter 2018.
