In connection with the celebration of its 32nd Founding Anniversary on 03 February 2016, Coast Guard District Northwestern Luzon spearheaded by its District Commander CAPT LEOVIGILDO F PANOPIO PCG will conduct a month-long activities until February 18.

One of the activities during the anniversary kick-off ceremony on January 25 is the Fun Run activity followed by a Sportsfest held aboard its Headquarters at Poro Point, San Fernando City, La Union which was aimed at promoting the Coast Guardsmen’s healthy lifestyle, good mental and physical fitness and strengthening camaraderie and sportsmanship.

The district also donated garbage drums to different public schools in Agoo, La Union. The turn-over of the said garbage drums was spearheaded by Captain Panopio together with his officers and was witnessed by the school officials and students.
