A group of fishermen found the earlier reported German national who died onboard his sailing yacht βSayoβ at the vicinity waters 62 miles away from the shoreline of the municipality of Barobo, Surigao del Sur.
Investigation revealed that while the said fishermen was underway going home, they sighted the yacht and found the victim onboard in his decomposing state, sitting at the right portion of his boat.
Further, they decided to tow the boat to the shoreline and upon arrival thereat, they reported the incident to the Coast Guard and local police.
The PNP and SOCO team conducted an autopsy examination on the cadaver and declared that Bajorat suffered acute myocardial infraction or heart attack which led to his death.
Sample specimens from the victimβs liver, kidney and heart were also brought to the PNP crime laboratory for further examination.
