The Philippine Coast Guard Dragon Boat Team won a total of seven medals in the International Dragon Boat Federation Club Crew World Championship in Adelaide, Australia.

 Captain Edgar L Ybaňez PCG, head of the delegation reported to Rear Admiral William M Melad, Commandant, Philippine Coast Guard that the Coast Guard paddlers bagged five gold medals to include 500 meters standard boat premier mixed, 500 meters small boat premier open, 500 meters small boat premier women, 200 meters standard boat premier mixed, 200 meters small premier women, a silver in 200 meters small boat premier open and a bronze in 2,000 meters standard boat premier mixed.

The competition was participated by Dragon Boat teams from China, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau. The Philippines sent the PCG and the Philippine Army Dragon Boat Team.

The Philippine Army Dragon Boat Team also won four gold medals and 1 silver.
