PCG: The barangay chairman of Tabla, Talisay, Batangas and his seven-year old son remains missing since they went to sea last Tuesday, April 19.
 
Michael Aala and his son Bon Joan reportedly departed Barangay 8 enroute to Barangay Tabla onboard motorboat “Toratora”. They have failed to arrive at their destination since.
 
The incident was reported by Aala’s cousin to the personnel of Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Talisay who immediately dispatched a search and rescue team. The team failed to locate the missing persons even after several hours of searching.

The team advised local barangay officials and fisher folks to be on the look-out and immediately report to the nearest Coast Guard units upon sighting of the said missing persons.
