Coast Guard personnel of BRP Pampanga (SARV-003) together with Coast Guard Medical team successfully transferred the unconcious Filipino crew of a Liberian flagged cargo vessel UMM Al Ashtan at the vicinity waters off Lubang Island, Mindoro, today.

The victim was identified as Christian Jimenez, 36 years old and a resident of San Jose, Rizal.

Accordingly, the vessel departed Das Island, Arab Emirates enroute to Japan when the victim was found unconscious and allegedly suffered stroke or brain blood clot.

Around 4pm in the afternoon, the team arrived at Pier 13 and the victim was immediately brought to Cardinal Santos Medical Center for proper treatment.
