PCG: A boat crew in Taytay, Palawan remains missing since Tuesday, May 17.
 
Benjie Casampol was onboard MBca Emerson 7 along with six crew and a skipper. The men departed San Fernando, El Nido for Linapacan, Palawan to load some provisions. Upon arrival in Linapacan, Capt. Jemuel Carumba noticed that he was missing.
 
The boat owner, Emerson Sedeste, reported the incident to Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Linapacan and a search and rescue operations was immediately launched for Casampol.

The Coast Guard scoured the vicinity waters and nearby islets for possible sightings but yielded negative results.
 
CGSS Linapacan advised all fisher folks transiting the area to be on the look out for Casampol and to report to the nearest PCG if sighted.
