PCG: City Vice Mayor Ramil Fajardo of Polilio onboard an unnamed boat went missing after she capsized at the vicinity waters of Bucao, Polilio, Quezon yesterday, June 20.

Investigations revealed that an unnamed fisherman saw the incident at approximately three (3) nautical miles off Bucao.

The fisherman immediately informed the Barangay Kagawad of Polilio, Quezon, Mr. Gary Nazareno who then relayed the information to the personnel of Coast Guard Sub-station (CGSS) Polilio.

CGSS Polilio immediately conducted search and rescue operations and rescued the boat crew identified as Romeo Malagueno who was found to be in good physical condition while Vice Mayor Fajardo remains missing.

The SAR team continuously scoured the area and advised all local officials and residents to be on look-out for the missing passengers of the motor banca.
