PCG: Three persons were reported missing in two separate maritime incidents in Davao Oriental and Negros Occidental.

The first incident involved a fisherman named Renato Robles, 52, who went missing while conducting fishing activities last June 20 at 40 nautical miles off Mati, Davao Oriental.

Robles was onboard fishing boat Pakura when the incident transpired.

A fellow fisherman, Roceller Carpesano, reported the incident to Coast Guard Station (CGS) Gensan and stated that Robles failed to return up to this date.

The PCG scoured the area in search for the missing fisherman and advised all vessels transiting the area to be on the look-out for Robles. The skipper of Pakura was also advised to file for a marine protest.

Meanwhile, a 48-year old woman and a child remain missing in Negros Occidental.

Adelaida Lutrago and Shamae Lutrago, 9 years old, were among the four passengers of a six-wheeler truck which attempted to cross Himogaan River. Strong current over-turned and swept the truck.

Bonnie Lutrago, 33 years old, and Beboy Lutrago, 12 years old, were rescued by the authorities following the immediate information received by the CGS Bacolod from CAPT FERDINAND TURBANOS PCGA of the 602nd Coast Guard Auxiliary Squadron.
