PCG: A teenager’s lifeless body was recovered by the Coast Guard in an underwater search operations in Panay, Capiz last Sunday, June 26.

Alvin Bigcas, 15, reportedly fell off his boat while transiting the area of Tinagong Dagat, Barangay Butacal, Panay at around 8:00 AM.

The incident was reported by a certain Blas Nolasco to the Coast Guard Station (CGS) Roxas where assistance was requested to rescue Bigcas.

The joint rescue team of CGS Roxas, Special Operatios Unit, Capiz Emergency Response Team, and Panay PNP were immediately deployed to search for Bigcas.

At around 2:40 PM, his body was plucked out of the water and was transported to Pontevedra, Capiz where it was turned-over to the local police for proper disposition.
