PCG: Two teenage girls are still missing in Davao City after they were swept by big waves to the deeper part of the ocean. 

The victims were identified as Aileen Dayrit, 14, and Annie Dayrit, 11, both residents of South San Juan, R. Castillo, Agdao, Davao City. 

Their aunt reported to Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Davao that Aileen and Annie went swimming at the vicinity waters of St. John Bucana in Barangay 76-A last July 30 but went missing afterwards.

The PCG immediately searched for the girls but yielded negative results due to unfavorable sea condition. It advised the personnel of CGSS Kaputian, CGSS Talicud and CGSS Daliao to continue monitoring for the victims and coordinate with the local fisher folks and LGUs in their respective areas of responsibility.
