PCG: Four fishermen were rescued while another is still missing after a steel-hulled fishing boat sunk off Moro Gulf in Mindanao.

L/B Mylene-92 was on a fishing venture along with its mother boat F/B Ramona-8 last Wednesday when it was hit by huge waves and strong winds 153 km off the coast of Bongao, Tawi-Tawi. 

Four of its five crew were rescued by the fishermen from F/B Ramona-8 while the other is still being searched by the Special Operations Group of the Coast Guard Station (CGS) Bongao. 

As the search operations for the missing fisherman was temporarily terminated due to rough weather and sea conditions, the PCG advised all water crafts transiting the area to be on the look out for the victim and render necessary assistance if sighted and report to the nearest PCG station.
