PCG: 13 passengers and a motorboat crew were safely rescued by the Philippine Coast Guard last Friday in Pioduran, Albay. 

The survivors were among the devotees who participated in a fluvial parade in celebration of Pioduran's patron saint, Our Lady of Salvacion. 

The motorboat  carrying the said passengers accidentally submerged when its freeboard detached from the vessel's main structure. 

Elements of Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Pioduran, CGSS Pantao and Bicol Special Operations Unit immediately rescued the distressed passengers.
