PCG: Four Korean nationals were rescued by the Coast Guard yesterday from a sunken yacht in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur. 

The survivors were onboard the black leisure yacht Lady Allia II and was bound for Subic, Zambales when its crew failed to notice the rocky portion of Cabugao's shoreline. 

The yacht ran aground and water seeped-in until it sank at around 2:00 am. 

Upon receipt of information from the Coast Guard Action Center (CGAC), a rescue operations was immediately conducted by the Coast Guard District North Western Luzon (CGDNWLZN) and Coast Guard Station (CGS) Salomague. 

The yacht was found northeast off the shoreline of Salomague Island with all passengers in good physical condition. They were identified as Capt. Lee Taejoo, Lee Hanro, Moon Seung Hyon and Kim Nogwan. 

All were transported safely to Salomague Island with their personal belongings. They were later brought to CGS Salomague for medical assistance.

The PCG personnel continues to monitor the yacht.
