PCG: A 42-year old Cebuano fisherman was successfully rescued by the Coast Guard last Saturday in Sta. Fe, Cebu.

The survivor, Edwin Orbizo, was reportedly transiting the vicinity waters of Qinartacan, Daanbantayan when his boat was battered by big waves until it capsized.

The Coast Guard onboard BFAR patrol boat 3017 found Orbizo and his half-capsized motorboat off Bodiong, Sta. Fe.

The fisherman was rescued in good physical condition and was turned-over to the barangay chairman of Sta. Fe, Cebu.
