PCG: Nine persons were rescued while another remains missing in a boat capsizing incident in Antique on December 25.

The victim was identified as Jeffrey Samones, 33.

Reports revealed that Samones and nine of his relatives were onboard a motor boat and was transiting the vicinity waters between Nogas Island and Poblacion Anni-y, Antique when it suddenly encountered engine trouble. 

The boat eventually capsized and threw all of its passengers at sea. 

Rescuers from the Coast Guard Station (CGS) San Jose De Buenavista together with divers from Anini-y Dive House continues searching for Samones.
