PCG. Motor Tug Many Plus-1, a Malaysian-flagged vessel manned by 10 crew members composed of Indonesian, Malaysian and Myanmar nationals with Barge AZ Shanghai on tow ran aground at 200 meters away from Baywalk, Roxas Boulevard, Manila on October 18 at 4:45 AM.

Said vessel loaded with 7,500 tons of coal arrived in Manila on October 16 from Indonesia and anchored at the Quarantine Anchorage Area.

Many Plus-1 accidentally dragged from her anchoring position and subsequently ran aground.

The local agent TMS Ship Management coordinated with Malayan Tugboat for the conduct of salvage operations to extract the said barge as soon as the weather permits.

No casualty and oil spill have been reported from the said incident.
