Personnel of Coast Guard K9 Unit Northwestern Luzon with Coast Guard Working Dog “Titan” in collaboration with PDEA RO1, NISG, Pangasinan PPO, RIU, PAIDSOTG, Pangsinan PPSC-SWAT, Dagupan CPS, and CIDG-Dagupan conducted joint operation “Anti-Illegal Drugs” last 22 October 2015 at Sitio  Silungan, Bonuan Binloc, Dagupan City. Said operation was conducted in connection with the ongoing efforts of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region I in curbing out the illegal drug problem in the region by focusing on High Value Targets and High Impact Operations.

A total of 302 grams of Methamphetamine Hydrochloride (Shabu) worth more or less PHP 644,000.00 was confiscated and placed under the custody of PDEA Regional Office 1 for proper disposition. Fourteen (14) suspected individuals are now under the custody of Dagupan Police Station for proper investigation. A case for violation of Section 11 and 12, Article II of RA 9165 also known as the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002” is now being filed for the said suspects.
